Key Functions of Zn

  • Is a component of more than 300 enzymes and proteins in crops.
  • Has a key function in the formation of growth hormones such as auxins.
  • Binds to phospholipids and is required for maintenance of bio-membrane-integrity.
  • Detoxify crops against superoxide free radicals.
