Key Functions of Mn

  • Activates many enzymes such as superoxide
    dismutase (SOD) to protect plant against O₂.
  • Improves photosynthetic efficiency.
  • Required for protein, carbohydrate and lipid synthesis.
  • Increases the plant’s resistance towards biotic and abiotic stresses.
  • Essential for optimizing N-metabolism in crops.
